M1 junction 16 southbound closed 30th – 31st July Overnight
From National Highways We’re writing to inform you of some upcoming essential drainage work on the M1 junction 16 southbound exit slip.
Norton is a civil parish in the Daventry District of Northamptonshire incorporating the hamlets of Muscott and Thrupp and is situated 2 miles east of Daventry, 11 miles west of Northampton.
From National Highways We’re writing to inform you of some upcoming essential drainage work on the M1 junction 16 southbound exit slip.
Part of Daventry Road will be closed on 30th July to allow Sunbelt to replace a pole.
Openreach are intending on carrying out telecom pole replacement works on the above road. To undertake this work safely will require that the road will be closed for 1 day at off peak times, and it is expected that the works will commence on the 16th July 2026.
M1 Junction 16 to 19 Remedial Works – Traffic Management Installation Work to stabilise embankments at four locations along the M1 in Northamptonshire will begin soon.
